1949 Packard Deluxe Eight, Low Miles, Driven Often, Looks Great
1949 Packard 200 Deluxe Eight Club Sedan Description
It took two years to track down this beautiful car. It took two weeks to convince the owner to sell it. It was not cheap.
I have improved the car although it didn't need much. I have driven it weekly I love it.
It is shiny as new, but my pics were taken in bright sunlight and it looks a little dull. Actually it shines. No blemishes.
The interior has been renewed and is as good as it looks. The art-deco dash is flawless.
For me frequently driven assures reliability. I've replaced the (6 volt) battery and had the shifter rebuilt. Before me the car was professionally restored in the mid 2000's. That work was recorded and reasonable provenance accompanies the car. Pictures of the engine will be added. There is no rust except on the muffler.
For their rarity and favored design Coupes sell for quite a bit more than four door sedans of the same year. These Packards were the best car one could buy at the time and their quality endures today. This car runs smoothly and quietly and attracts everyone's attention.
To learn more call me. To qualify as a serious buyer call me. This is a traditional eBay auction with a reserve. If reserve is met I will pay for transport. Dave Pyle 713 703 1207.
