1971 Plymouth Roadrunner TX9 340 4 speed Two VIDEOS
1971 Plymouth Road Runner Description
I'm selling my 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner that I have owned for over 9 years.
This Roadrunner is an original black car, optional 340 engine, 4 speed manual transmission and sure grip 391 rear. Came with no power steering, has manual HD drum brakes, bucket seats with console. Very interesting combination of options. The drive train is all original to the car, except the engine. The engine is a 68 or 69 340. I had added the six barrel set up a few years back.
Two video links listed at the end of description.
The body is straight as an arrow. Older paint that still shows very well and a mile deep. All original body panels.
The black interior is in overall good condition. The door panel arm rest pad is cracked, rubber boot from shifter has a tear and the tachometer is not accurate.
The car drives and runs great. It has been very dependable for me. I just installed an electronic distributor this week. The rear tires are drag radials and are a little worn. The e-brake works, great oil pressure and runs cool.
Overall a very good car from my perspective. I haven’t seen to many black 71 Roadrunner 4 speeds come up for sale over the years. I will add more as the auction goes on. Thanks for looking!
This car is sold as is due to its age. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please ask questions before bidding. Reserve the right to cancel the sale if you have zero or bad feedback or any other circumstances I find not acceptable.
Pick up is buyer’s responsibility and vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared.
