1970 Plymouth Barracuda Cuda Description

Here we have a kick ass, super clean, recently restored 1970 Cuda in Hemi Orange. It was restored about 5 years ago but looks like it was restored this year. The paint is fantastic and is super clean top and bottom. The last owner who restored it spent a lot of time on this and it shows. I don't think I have owned a car with a nicer paint job. It is an original 340 car but I don't believe this is the original 340. I do have the rebuild receipt for the motor that was done by a professional shop. I can provide a photo of the specs upon request. The motor runs nice and tight and sounds wonderful. The car has been upgraded with a few items. It now has a shaker hood which is super cool. I have also recently added a close ratio Borgeson power steering kit which makes the car so much more enjoyable to drive. It also has the Hotchkis rear leafs and front torsion bar which lowers the car just over an inch and provides a really comfortable ride. It is low enough to give it that perfect stance without being too low where you have to be careful when driving. It goes over speed bumps fine. All the suspension components were rebuilt during the restoration so it rides nice and tight with all new bushings and ball joints. It has a great sounding TTi exhaust system. The interior is really clean with much of the original plastic still in the car. The carpet and seats are new and the headliner is nicely done. The trunk and the engine bay is super clean like the rest of the car. The trim is all very nice as well as the weather stripping, it looks new. The only flaw I have noticed is a crack in the center of the grill which I believe can be repaired with some plastic welding.I just took the car to the Good Guys Delmar show and it was pretty cool that it was the only 1970 Cuda or Barracuda I saw in a sea of Camaros, Mustangs and old Chevys. I do love all those cars but the Cuda is pretty unique and few and far between. When you look at the styling of the car it has some pretty clean and thus aerodynamic features. The cool recessed, two finger door pulls, the hidden wipers, even the rain gutters on the roof are blended into the body. Its just a very smooth and interesting car and a fantastic piece of American automotive history. As soon as I figure out how to get the 100 plus photos from my iPhone to my dropbox, I will post the link here below. I have plenty of photos and several videos of the car. If you have any requests before I get that link pasted, please shoot me a note and I will send you what I have. You are welcome to come and see and drive the car. I can also can put it on a lift for your inspection in Carlsbad, CA.

To view additional photos and videos of the car, send me your email address and I will send you a link to my Cuda dropbox folder. You dont need to have a dropbox account to view these items. Dropbox no longer has a public sharing option so I am unable to post a general link anymore. There is an image of the fender tag in those pics for those of you who are interested as well videos of the car driving and lights working etc.
I do have all the original parts I took off the car like the leaf springs, torsion bars, original steering wheel and steering box if the buyer wants them.
