1969 Plymouth Road Runner -- Description

Rotisserie restored. Fantastic fit and finishes, it's stunning. Performance 440 with a 5-speed! EXTERIOR: This Road Runner is about as slick as they get. This paint job is glass, the body is straight as a laser beam. All the gaps line up beautifully. Black stripes on the hood are a glass finish. No ugly vinyl top. The trim really sets it off too. Bumpers, door handles, mirror have new chrome. All the stainless trim around the windows is polished and... shiny, even the wiper arms are shiny. Has new taillights. It even has all new glass all the way around. It has a great stance. Nice modern twist on the Magnum 500 wheels, they are billet aluminum. Has some BFG tires. Fuzzy window seals, gaskets and weather strips are new. Door jambs are painted real slick. INTERIOR: Inside the car is restored. I'm sitting it right now and the first thing I noticed is the seats feel new. It has new cushions, all the upholstery is redone. New door panels, armrests, window cranks. Overhead the visors, headliner and mirror is all new. Has a remote on the visor for the stereo, dome light works. The dash area is completely restored, new gauges including a tachometer. New dash pad and cushion grip wheel. Has a modern stereo system with speakers under the dash and 6x9s in the rear deck. Has seat belts front and back. New carpet and Roadrunner embroidered floor mats. Of course the pistol grip shifter sitting there is the highlight feature. Has updated 5-speed indicator. Neatly installed gauge cluster under the dash. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Sitting in the middle of a beautiful engine bay is a performance built 440. It runs strong. Has aluminum high rise Edelbrock intake and aluminum Edelbrock heads. A big Holley dual feed carburetor fuels the motor. It runs cool thanks to upgraded aluminum water pump and radiator. Has power steering and power brakes. Everything is neat and tidy. All the metal is clean and straight, painted gloss red. The "meep, meep" horn works! TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All metal painted red. Has a new mat, new Magnum 500 wheel and new tire for a spare. Has jack assembly. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are slick as can be, new weather strip. UNDERSIDE: Completely restored underneath. The floors are so clean they painted them gloss red. Has welded in frame rails that look like the factory did. Front suspension is all rebuilt and detailed. Has KYB gas shocks, sway bar. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new. Trans is upgraded with a 5-speed. In back looks new too. Has sway bar, KYB gas shocks, new bushings. Rear end looks restored. Has new fuel tank, sending unit and lines. Custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Upgraded Wilwood brake system, has drilled and slotted rotors at all four wheels. If you like exceptional, this is at that level. Not to mention it's an exciting car!
