1970 Plymouth Barracuda 'cuda Description

1970 Plymouth 'cuda (real BS23 high performance 'cuda factory, not a clone) - The most beautiful car ever made in my opinion! Factory FJ5 Sublime Green High Impact paint w/ front rubber bumper car! Hoodpins, rally gauges, Road Lamp, Slap-Stic Automatic floor shift with console, power steering, front disc power brake car, Rimblow wheel, magnum 500 Road Rallys with NEW reproduction Byas-Ply white letter tires (same as original equipment). Built January of 1970, this car was originally sold at HELMS Chrysler Plymouth Dodge, in Lexington, Tenn. This car is very rough / rusty and needs a complete restoration. Rot threw floors, trunk, frame rails, body panels, ect. This car will need a lot of metal work. It would help if you are friends with a body guy. This is a high-dollar, super sought after pinnacle year muscle car / mopar and worthy of a full restoration. It will need professional body work, not for an amature. This car is worth fixing, its been off the road for many, many years. It only has 78k original miles. Very few of these made, 50 years later most are long gone, the few remaining ones have mostly been grabbed up and restored by now by collectors, enthusiasts, and classic car dealers. This one is still waiting to be saved.
This car does have a complete '71 date code 383 Magnum / Super Commando Big Block, rated at 335hp, just like it left the factory with. It has power steering with the quick ratio cooler, power brakes, and front disc brakes, factory! I believe the 727 torqueflite transmissionis original to the car / numbers matching, but I never double checked to confirm, I planned on switching it over to a pistol grip 4 speed personally. Has original 8 3/4 rearend housing, previous owner robbed the Sure-Grip 3rd member from it before I picked up the car, so no gears currently, car does roll ok and move around. The silver lining about it, you can now choose the gear ratio of your choice, maybe even upgrade it to a DANA 60. I don't know anything about the condition of the motor / trans, never tried starting it, as a full resto was needed anyway. All the important stuff is there, fender tag, vin plate, door sticker vin tag, all matching. Look at the 24 pictures, you can see this car was the real deal. Real BS23 70 cuda, with clean Missouri title in my name. This 'cuda was built January of 1970, so it just turned 50 years old this month.
A Sublime green rubber bumper 70 'cuda has been my DREAM CAR for over 22 years, It took 20 years for me to find one that wasn't restored and was an affordable project. I have owned this cuda for 2 years now, planned on doing a full restoration, and finally having my dream car. Unfortunately, my wife of 15 years was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last year, and plans have now changed. I will no longer be able to see this car thru. I would love to see this car restored, that's what it deserves. I want it to go to a good home.
Car is centrally locatedin the middle of the USA, in a small town of Holt, Missouri (about 20ish minutes NE of Kansas City, right up I-35). I am only a few miles away from the interstate (I-35), so easy for big shipping trucks to get to car if having it shipped.
