1971 Pontiac Grand Ville 2 door Description

This is a solid, well maintained car. No rust on the frame or floors.
Older restoration, with 20 years of summer enjoyment since purchasing for my wife's 40th birthday. 455 4BBL auto, Power steering, windows, and seat. 120,000 original miles.
It has some rust starting on the bottom of the doors and around the tail lights, and the top while perfectly serviceable is beginning to show some wear.
Interior door panels and rear seat plastic trim shows wear. I have the lower rocker chrome trim as well, but didn't reattach it when we repainted it 10 years ago.
This car has been our summer cruiser for 20 years and it needs to find a good home. Always owned by an adult couple, never raced, modified or abused. Always covered to protect the paint from the sun, and stored inside during Maine's winters. We've never driven this car in the snow in the 20 years we've owned it.
Was last inspected and driven on the road last summer. Windshield replaced in 2015. This car has the desirable 455 CI GM with the original Four Barrel carb. Car is servicable, clean and original. Runs and drives, shifts and stops as it should.
As we're musicians, we've actually written a song about it. We'll include a recording of "Convertible Life" with the sale. We would love to see this car go to a home and be fully restored. Only reason it's for sale is to restore my 1971 Ford Ranchero.
The convertible is currently indoors, with plans to be stored for the winter if it doesn't sell.
Delivery within 1000 miles of Portland Maine is possible at $1.00 per mile.
