1974 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J Description

This is a really nice car! It rides really nice. Smooth at all speeds. Has stock 3.31 gears, so it cruises at highway speeds no problem. I drove this car from Maine to Kansas in January with zero issues. It was tuned up 6 months ago and has a new Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor. It has a new 4-core aluminum radiator and two 14" 2,250 CFM fans that kick on at 185 degrees automatically. It has a new 100 amp alternator to handle the load. Aftermarket touch screen stereo and speakers. Has newer all season tires and new front shocks and brake pads. The good: Drives excellent! Tracks perfectly straight, stops very well and straight with front disc brakes (no shaking at any speed), and the steering is TIGHT! The 400 4-barrel V8 runs very smooth and has great power for a '74! Has new Gibson MWA mufflers and 2.5" muffler back pipes. Lots of fun to drive. The bad: There are a couple of minor rust spots that have been amatuerly patched (can provide pics), but they are small. I washed it recently and accidentally blew off a piece of the chrome piping around the passenger side rear window.(purchased replacement which will go with car) It's a great car... I just have too many and not enough storage. The stickers on it I added because I was going to do a Gumball Rally and then Route 66. They easily come off with a hair dryer. Make me a fair offer.
