1974 Pontiac Grand Prix Description

FOR SALE BY PRIVATE OWNER
This 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix model SJ, 455, turbo 400 with a moonroof was sold new at Scholfield Brothers Pontiac in Wichita, KS, then at some point the car moved to Reno, NV and later to Northern California where it spent 5 years stored in a warehouse. The license plates on the car were from Nevada last registered in 2001. I acquired the GP in May 2016 and brought it to IL. The GP was a virtually rust free body when I obtained the car. All the body panels, the floor pans as well as the trunk are very solid. The car was painted in 2017, new vinyl top and interior were done in 2018. According to records, only 13,841 SJ Grand Prix’s were produced of the nearly 100,000 of all the Grand Prix models made that year. This Grand Prix is largely an original car other than the new items mentioned below.
