1989 Pontiac Firebird Description

1989 Pontiac Firebird, 5.0 305, automatic Transmission, p/w, p/m, p/d, A/C but not blowing cold, 67,320 miles, am/fm Cassette, 4 brand new tires and headliner. I bought this car from the original owner last year. The miles are suppose to be original and carfax backs them up. The car started out life in Texas, never driven in the salt, and has always been garage kept. The owner moved to Ky. in 2000 from Texas, and the car has not been driven much since then. He got it out now and then to keep things lubed up, thats it. The underside of the car is rust free and immaculate. The body is straight, has original black paint in good condition. It does have a few scratches and small flaws in the paint with any car this year, but the paint has a good appearance. The interior is clean and in good original shape. All the gauges work, dome light, power windows, power mirrors, and stereo work. The engine runs perfect, transmission shifts perfect, brakes stop good, the front end is tight and does not roam all over the road. Under the hood is clean and immaculate, everything still just like it was from the factory. The car runs and drives like new. I have gone over the car and here is a list of the NEEDS I know need to be addressed
Back Hatch Cylinders will not hold the rear hatch up, need to be replaced.
The headlights will will not raise. You can hear them trying to come up, but will not
The carpet and seats could use a good carpet cleaning to freshen it up
A/c is all there, but not blowing cold
Passenger side kick panel, the plastic piece of trim that runs along the seat is broke
Passenger side sun visor does not want to stay up
Has a couple of cracks in the rear spoiler
The speedometer sometimes does not want to work. You can tap it with your finger and it will work after that. Has to be something simple.
There might be other things as the car is all original and almost 30 years old, but that is what I have found. It is not perfect, but It is a very clean surviver and can be made into a very nice car. I can only upload 24 pictures here, but have over 60 pictures I have taken of the car I can send to serious buyers if interested. I suggest hauling the car home as the headlights do not work. I only accept cash or certified checks. Only paypal for a deposit. Feel free to email me with any questions.
