1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Description

1986 Pontiac Fiero GTONLY 53,000 Original Miles!!!I found this car under a cover of dust in a garage. It has been stored for a few years Since then, the tires have been replaced, battery changed, fluids changed and the car has been gone through and driven regularly this season. The paint is original seems to be original and buffed back beautifully in all but the roof and deck lid, which we had professionally paint because of some fading on the clear coat that I wasn't too fond of.
I get thumbs up every where I drive and it is a real head turner! The way I would describe this car is it is a fun car to bring to a car show and be proud of. It is not perfect so probably not a show winner, but IT IS ORIGINAL!! That is the best part. This is a survivor! The car is completely solid underneath. There is no rust, no bubbling, and no issues rust wise and IT IS ORIGINAL!! The seats, the wheels, even the shift boot is original and in great shape. It passed state inspection this year which included a very rigorous check including ball joints, tie rods, fuel lines, power steering lines, brakes lines, brakes, lights etc...The car starts right up, drives great and looks beautiful. There are some minor flaws here and there. The AC does not work. The headlights function but do not flip up or down mechanically. They can be raised or lowered manually. The driver mirror is a manual mirror and the switch on the door is attached with an aftermarket screw, so it isnt aligned perfectly. Also, the clear lense on the rear tail light has a crack in it. The driver seat has been re-stitched. The headliner was stapled up because it was sagging. Trunk lock is missing. Can still be opened though.

I am confident this car could make it across the country today if needed. Everything is clean and strong. Please keep in mind this is a 30 year old car. Nothing is going to be perfect, and you will most likely find blemishes or things you dont like about the car that are not mentioned. I tried to list this to the best of my abilities. Please feel free to call or ask any questions prior to submitting an offer.
