1966 Pontiac GTO Description

1966 Pontiac GTO coupe, 389 cubic Inch V8 engine bored .030 over with 3 Deuce carb setup, high performance cam, 700R4 automatic transmission, hooker headers, polished stainless steel exhaust system that sounds great, 3.90 rear end gear ratio (auburn Gears) great for highway/freeway driving, MSD ignition, power steering, power brakes, power window, air conditioning (not currently working but I will be looking at this tomorrow, chrome Cragar wheels with brand new BF Goodrich tires, Top looks brand new with no issues, a lot of money/time has been invested in the past twoyears regarding the mechanics of this car which is why it runs so well and is so dependable,interior is clean and looks very good, weather stripping is good,all the glass throughout the car is good,Body is extremely straight ( I see one very small rust bubble on passenger door at bottom) paint looks great however there appears to be contaminates in the paintaround the car-the good news is that its silver and the only way to see this is basically getting inches away from the paint and looking very hard, if I didn't mention this contamination in the paint thenyou and everyone else simply walks up to the car and thinks "this car is beautiful!" there is also a blemish that is noticeable in the paint oncenter of drivers door, while I have given you all the negatives I am aware of- the truth is this car is very solid, beautiful, drives extremely well and is a blast to drive! This year GTO and its body design are timeless and grabs attention wherever it goes. pre purchase inspections are welcome, could easily be a daily driver, a weekend fun car or take to local car shows for fun!
