Up for sale is my numbers matching 1968 Firebird 350 4 speed with 38,000 original miles. I purchased the car from an elderly gentleman that was the second owner. I have a copy of the title and all of the owners manuals that came with the car. He couldn’t find the protect-o-plate. I haven’t looked for the build sheet because the interior is original and I didn’t want to take the back seat out. The carb, motor, transmission and rear were freshened up because it was sitting for a few years and the clutch became fused to the pressure plate. That’s why the elderly gentleman parked the car. The carb was rebuilt with all new internals and gaskets. The motor got machined 30 over and has new pistons, bearings, cam, fuel pump and seals including a new one piece main seal and pan gasket. The trans got a new reverse gear, bearings, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, gaskets and new fluid. The rear got new seals and fluid. The car runs and drives great. The interior will need some work. The seats will need to be recovered and it could use a new carpet. The body is in fantastic shape. The only rust is on the driver side floor pans near the drain plugs. The car appears to have been repainted at some point and there is a minimal amount of mud in the car. It would be an excellent father and son project for someone to bring up to show quality. I strongly recommend you come and take a look at it before you bid. Any bidders with no or low ratings will be canceled. Also, an $500.00 deposit will be required immediately after winning. I will ship the car but full payment in cash will be required before the car and title will be released. That means no PayPal, no checks, no cashier checks and no certified checks. If you can’t pay in cash don’t bid.
