Offering this 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible Tribute for sale at no reserve. Car features a 389 C.I. V-8 with NOS Tri-Power carburetion, Pertronix ignition, 4-speed floor shift, power steering, power brakes, A/C, and hydroelectric convertible top. This car is an excellent example that falls somewhere between driver and show quality as it sits. The Silver base coat clear coat shows excellent and the garage keeping has afforded the black leather interior a like new overall condition. The stainless trim has been polished and flash-chromed. The bumpers are showing minor corrosion. The pot metal, bumpers, etc. were re-chromed and overall, they show nicely. The interior sports a padded dash, full console, with the optional vacuum gauge. The underpinnings of the car were not overlooked in this body off restoration with excellent paint coverage and overall nice detailed work. Suspension was completely overhauled and provides a comfy, positive ride and ample stopping power thanks to its disc front brakes. Spindles from an 80’s Buick were utilized to facilitate fitment of an original 14” wheel and hubcap. The car shows approximately 2800 miles since its restoration and buy in large has been a trouble free cruiser for the past 20 years as it was built as a birthday gift for ‘the wife’.
