1988 Pontiac Fiero Description
Up for auction is a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT with the rare factory installed t-top (CJB) in great shape but needs a little TLC. It turned so many heads and a little work could turn her into a show car. The front end was replaced and I have the passenger replacement fender which was suppose to all be painted but I never got around to it so that needs to be done. I have the black molding strips and reflection pieces too that are needed for the repair. I slid on some rocks going thru an intersection and hit another car's rear rim lightly but enough to crack the front end .. it was nothing serious .. just for your information. The interior header needs to be recovered due to age. Interior ashtray cover has a broken spring. Lighter needs to be replaced but I'm pretty sure I have an extra I can put in there. Leather driver's seat needs repair or replacement. Passenger leather seat looks good but needs tightening of a seam in one area (shown in pic). The rest of the interior looks very good. The storage bags in the trunk for the glass is in fair condition but they're there and trunk looks good. Engine runs good. Everything works like it should. I have a video I can send you if you ask and more pictures in detail of t-top seal gaskets which are in excellent shape and other areas of the car closer up, etc. The t-top p-seals will need to be replaced at some point .. thin fabric cover is wearing off. P-seals serve as a gasket that acts as a barrier between the glass tops and the painted body panel only. I protected all the seals from the sun, etc. and they are really good. There are no leaks in this top. There is a very light powdered surface rust on top of the t-top metal frame but this is normal. Alternator was just replaced. Needs 2 rear tires. Front tires are good. Rims are in good shape. This car qualifies as a historic in Maryland and you don't need an inspection, nor do you need emission tests. I'm not sure about other states. I can't think of anything else. It's been a nice car. It's been off the road for approx 2 years because I was given another car but its been maintained well. It can be a super looking show car if you have some time. The overall paint looks good but there is crackling here and there and chipping. Repainting the entire car is up to you but she still has her clear coat for the most part but the rear wing has lost its clear coat. This car was garage kept up until 3 years ago but t-top/seals and interior was protected from sun.
I have more pics of sections of the car, t-top, t-top glass on both sides, etc. If you want them emailed to you, just ask. I also have a video showing the car engine running as well as the car on the road. Your deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours and is non-refundable due to my ebay fees and time so make sure this is what you want. Serious only please.
0 feedback bidders: please message me personally if you're serious. If not, I will delete you if I can. It's been my experience that 0 feedback bidders are rarely serious and put a negativity on the bidding process for others. Balance to be paid in cash unless you set something up with me beforehand that is acceptable (out of town bidders who are paying a moving service for example).

Was made aware by the Fiero T-top registry that my fiero had not been listed. It was done many years ago but it's possible I did something wrong. Not sure how much time they need to update info but if you need a photo of label, let me know. Info has been sent in. Thank you.

We believe this was done at the dealership. You can see it on areas such as the inner wheel wells, inside front spare trunk area, underneath, etc. For those of you who are looking at reports, codes, etc., it does not show up there. ***
