From 1985 - 1991 the 944 Turbo, commonly known as the 951, was one of the fastest 4 cylinder engine production cars on the road. The 1989 - 1991 944 Turbo'swere the most powerful versionswith 250HP and 258 lb-ftof torque.
This 1989 944 Turbo has been meticulously cared for by the previous owner(s) and isnow beingcared for and maintainedby the Porsche Factory Trained Classic Technicians of Porsche Colorado Springs.
The Guards Red paint shows like new withaclear mask installed on the front bumper and partial hood, fenders, mirrors,door edges, and quarter panels.
The Black partial leather interior also shows like new with no wear marks on the front seats or handled surfaces such as the steering wheel andgear shifter.
The 944 Turbohas beenrecently inspected andserviced by MasterPorsche Classic Technician, Dave Petitti of Porsche Colorado Springs.

The car was first registered August 8, 1989 and had a list price of $47,600. The first owner is unknown.
Thesecond owner of the 944 Turbo lived in Phoenix, Arizonaand was an active PCA concours judge inthe Phoenix and Tucson areas. The second owner reported thecar had been partially repainted prior to his ownership.The owner believed there was damage to the left rear quarter panel and that area of the car was repaired and repainted. (Subsequent inspection showed evidence the entire car had been repainted with single stage paint.)

The third owner purchased the car in December of 2012at 46,661 miles and brought the car to Colorado.A previous service record supplied by the second owner showed the 944 Turbo being serviced in June of 2012.The2012 service included timing and balance shaft belts, idler pulleys and tensioners, replacement of fuel hose from rail to damper, replacement of fuel hoses from body to fuel rail, replacement of the A/Cand Alternator belt, and replacement of thepower steering belt. A copy of the service ticket from the service has been provided.
Tires were replaced in March of 2013 and a clear mask was installed in 2013.The original receipt for the clear mask has been provided.

The fourth owner purchased the 944 Turbo in early 2016 and drove it very little. The third owner reports the car had chrome wheels during his ownership which have since been replaced or painted silver. The third owner also noteda COA and 2014 Concours winning ribbon was provided to thefourth owner, these items are currently being retrieved.
