The car was purchased new on August 18, 1986 by Dr. Steven Weissfeld of Knoxville Tennessee. He bought the car from Harper Porsche in Knoxville Tennessee. He had a Cell Phone installed, and a Pass Port Radar Detector installed when it was new. The Telephone is still installed and is hooked up! The Passport Radar detector comes with the car. I also have the original Leather gloves he drove the car with. Due to Dr. Weissfeld travels the car ended up sitting for several years until I purchased the car in January of 2017.
The car has recently had the Timing belt, water pump, timing belt rollers, A/C belt, Alternator Belt, AIR Pump Belt, and Power Steering Belt replaced by Eurotech Knoxville. It has also had a complete tune up using Bosch Spark plugs and Beru Spark plug wires, Bosch distributor Caps, and Rotors. The Fuel pump, and Fuel filter has also been replaced with genuine Bosch parts. It also has 4 new Dunlop Tires on the original wheels and a new battery. The car runs and drives great and should be able to drive trouble free for many years to come. This is a very nice car! It does have a small tear on the driver’s front seat on the lower left side bolster (hard to see) and 3 small cracks in the dash (1 on the pod, and 2 on the dash itself). These are minor and don’t take away from the car. I feel it shows its originality. The Door panels, carpet, head liner and sun visors are all in great shape. All the interior lights, windows, sunroof, and electric door locks and rear hatch work as they should. All the gauges in the dash, and the original radio works.
This is a really nice rust-free collector car that would look great in any collection or a great car to drive and enjoy. Please look at the pictures and feel free to email or call 865-621-4012 with any questions.
I am selling this car with NO RESERVE!
