I'm getting questions ..."Is it street legal?"
Yes, it's street legal. I have the original "QQ Historic License Plates" issued from New Jersey DMV. Never has to be INSPECTED with QQ Historic Plates! The title is CLEAR. toss a bid, you may be surprised!
Car runs, needs tires as they are pretty worn down. Has a few small rust spots, 2spots on thepassenger door and some in the trunk and small rust on frontfender, (what else is new with these 911's and their proneness to small insignificant rust spots.) The Battery is from 2006, but starts right up! I would change the battery. The driver's door probably needs new pins in the hinges, par for the course when a car has been used at the race track, or just the normal 48-years ofopening and closing it.
Condition is in eyes of the beholder and depends how much of a perfectionist you are! With these, you can get obsessive about everything! Is it arotisseriefully-restoredmeticulous 911? No, it needsomeone who is willing to invest or "do-it-yourself" project to be restored. Great car for a serious Porsche lover who knows what it takesto achieve his dream-car, or even a Father/Son garage project slowly over time on the weekends! The previous owner was amechinaical engineer and meticulous about doing the right things to the car over his lifetime, with all Original Quality Porsche parts and careful precision. A lot has been invested in this car over the years, and our loss is your gain!
type "930 10" is stamped on the engine.that is as high compression engine Porsche put in the production. Nice score! (see picture)

YES! Pictures were taken inadvertently WITH the trunk lid open.
When it is closed it looks like the seam on the rear engine hood - tight!.
HISTORIC PORSCHE 911 T : While Porsche's experimental staff worked on the type 1966 Porsche 911 replacement, production engineers and designers moved forward with the C series for model year 1970. Automakers throughout the world struggled to control hydrocarbon emissions, and Paul Hensler's staff designed a new series of 2.2 litre engines to address these needs, They enlarged bore from 80mm to 84, increasing overall displacement from 1,991 CC to 2,195. The black fan-shrouded T now developed 125 horsepower DIN, the green-shrouded E produced 155 horsepower DIN, and the red-shrouded S turned out 180 DIN, 200 SAE horsepower. The Targa weighed 1.020 kilograms, 2.244 pounds. It sold for 21,911 DM at the factory. The company manufactured 2.545 Targas and about 6.544 Coupes.

1969 brought the first substantive changes to the Porsche 911 lineup, which now consisted of three models: the 911T, 911E and 911S. All of these were available in coupe and Targa body styles. The T was carbureted until 1972, while the E and S were mechanically fuel injected. For 1969, Porsche stretched the wheelbase and flared the wheel arches, allowing wider tires to be fitted. Unlike most performance cars of the era, horsepower kept climbing through the use of fuel injection and a series of 200 cc displacement increases culminating in the 1972 2.4-liter cars.
The T was the base model with the lowest horsepower. It was tractable and quite adequate for street use. The E had a bit more horsepower and more luxury features, while the 200 hp S was the car for weekend racers. Rust continued to be an issue, although by this time Porsche was at least paying more attention to the car’s vulnerable floor pans. A mid-year change to Bosch electronic fuel injection for the 1973 ½ 911T produced what many believed to be the sweetest running 911 yet.
