1964 Porsche 356 Description

This is a great Arizona 1964 356 SC with matching numbers. Clean title. Selling without a reserve. It runs & drives great. Time to downsize. I have enjoyed the car for over 20 years and believe it has been in Arizona for at least 30 years. I have always kept itin mygarage. It came with no history unfortunately. The Paint is # 6405 Champagne Yellow as it was delivered. It looks great from about 25 feet. It has a few blems as would be expected and the Interior shows it's age. The Engine # is 810081 and was rebuilt at Karl's Customs by Robbie Skidmorewho is well known in Phoenix in 2002. We have the invoice. It has Shasta 1720 pistons, Shasta Cam, Crane valve springs, Vic Skirmat's tach drive with external oil filter and Weber carbs. Under 5,000 miles since the rebuild. It's a great runner and I have enjoyed driving it. I even got to drive it around Rennsport at Laguna Seca in 2016. If needed, we can deliver it to it's new owner at this years Rennsport the end of September. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping and arrangements but we will help in any way we can. Thank you for looking.

So we jacked the car up and took more pictures looking for Rust. We only found about 4" hole in the Dr. side floor pan near the gas pedal. The other side is clean.. The longitudinals are perfect and the undercoating is all intact. Check out the pictures and please ask questions. In one of the pictures of the drivers side door opened, just above the ID tags there is a crease that looks like rust. We checked it carefully and it just scrapes away with a fingernail. The paint is chipped and so a little surface rust developed. We really can't find any other rust even in the battery box and underneath. Please ask questions thank you.
