1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Sunroof Coupe. Always a Calif/Arizona survivor.
1984 Porsche 911 Description
The PCA member and second owner had this car in San Diego from 1990 until I brought to Arizona it in 2014. I have driven it sparingly, logging only 13K miles in 5 years in mostly PCA related events. Maintenance records show meticulous attention for the last 39 years, documented by a 1" stack of receipts, including $7,000 for an upgraded Air Conditioning system. The paint is spectacular. The car looks like new and has no leaks, no smoke, no noises, no stories. It drives, shifts and stops like new. If you are tired of Red, White, or Black, the special order Quartz Gray Metallic paint is a rare and striking alternative. Included in the photos below are parts of the Ebay listing when I bought the car. (Sorry they are sideways, but they deserve a careful reading.) The selling broker was a seasoned Porsche fanatic and stated in his listing things like: "I have driven many of these cars...and this one has that feel as if it weredriven off the showroom floor." "I have not seen a nicer Carrera with 145,000 miles on it in my life." "Always garage kept and no rust or accidents." The front seats have been recovered inleather, and the dash, carpet and headliner are perfect. An after market AM/FM/CD with four speakersand an AUXiPod/Mp3 hookup produce great sound. H4 headlights make night time driving a pleasure. It has a cat bypass installed for better power and sound, and the original Catalytic Converter is included. (Thesecond owner switchedthe Bypass out for the annual Calif smog tests. That's not necessary most everywhere else). I hate to see this one go, but I need the garage space. Iwouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country, but willhelpto arrangeshipping, if desired.
