1980 Porsche 930 Description

i have a slicktop euro 1980 930 in color code 463 - casablanca beige metallic. all original paint. vin # 93A0070253
Singer has done two cars in this same color and apparently it is very rare
car is all original minus the wheels. they are bbs's with new toyo proxes from late 2014 which have never been driven on.
the car was stored for many years. can't say exactly how long but at least 15-20 years.
odometer reads 79k miles. story i was told by p.o. of many years is that it actually only has about 20k. when the car was imported they slapped whatever speedo they had on hand in mph just to know their speed. this is what i was told. whether this is true or not is up for debate. the car doesn't show much wear other than storage dings and apparently some moisture got inside the windshield seal which caused the dash to go bad and the glass to delaminate at the bottom.
body - all gaps are perfect and original. paint is all original and with a buff would actually look pretty nice. there are however some rust bubbles here and there. nothing major though. the entire underside of the car is solid so that is definitely a plus. the turbo spoiler has some paint chipping although the rubber is soft as new. some genius decided to put some sort of antenna on the front part of the roof so that would have to be removed and addressed.
interior - in good shape. does not show much wear other than the dash. the seats (front and rear) are two tone. it looks factory but can't say for sure. never seen one like it but maybe it was a special order.
engine - type 930/60. these are good for a conservative 300hp+ in stock form. serial number is hard to see though (disclose disclose disclose LOL). it turns over nice and smooth by hand. it is missing the air filter box but i do have the intercooler. i was advised not to try to crank it (hard to fight the urge lol) but i figured it's better left alone until someone can go through it and make sure it's good to go.
This is a very good restoration project. and you will have a very rare color 930 once it's done. and you know how it goes: rare = $$Car is located in Hollywood, FL and I encourage personal inspections.
