1965 Replica/Kit Makes A/C Cobra Description

DESCRIPTION

You are looking at a 1965 A/C Cobra 427 replica built by Classic Roadster LTD in Fargo North Dakota. It was sold in 1991 to Dan Richards in Lakewood Colorado. It was ordered complete with the gauges and the Performance handling package. We have the original order sheet and receipts for all the upgrades.
The transmission is a borg warner 5 speed with a Lakewood scatter-shield. The ignition is a Mallory uni lite electronic system with a pro master coil. The motor is a 1971 Ford 351W .30 over, balanced, rods re sized, complete rebuild and machine on the rotating assembly. Heads are World products dart Heads, 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust, chamber volume 64cc, intake volume 197cc, the heads have also been ported.
Its fed by a new holly 750 cfm with vacuum secondaries. The machine work and motor build was done by Automotive machine in Lakewood Colorado. The body, paint and prep was done by Pastimes Restoration Golden Colorado, three stage paint completed 3/28/1992, I have the receipt for that as well.
The odometer show 10,000 miles and has only been pleasure driven during nice weather.
The tires are the nostalgic goodyear bill boards mounted on 15" halibrand style wheels. These are bias ply non DOT tires that give it the look, however they drive like bias ply tires, plenty of traction, just bumpy when cold. The paint is very good considering the age, it has two flaws in the black portion of the racing stripes behind the drivers seat, I will include in the pictures. The complete exhaust system has been ceramic coated, and looks great. The interior is very good except the carpet has a few wear marks near the seams. The ride and drive will put a smile on your face, the sound, the power are just second to none. It certainly has the muscle car sound, shake rattle and roll. The 5th gear is a great addition for cruising down the highway. The rear end gears are 3:73 with 31 spline axles. The rack and pinion steering is precise along with the power brakes. I have taken it to some of the local car show cruise nights and it always draws a crowd. Check out the pictures and watch the video, give me a call with any question you might have.
