1973 ROLLS ROYCE CORNICHE CONVERTIBLE

1973 Rolls-Royce Corniche Cabriolet Description

Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible. I found this car in a warehouse where it had been sitting for approximately 18 years. I did the normal things preparing to see just what condition the drive train was in. I drained and flushed the fuel tank. I removed all the spark plugs in anticipation of spinning over with the starter prior to trying to start it. The two center spark plugs on the right side of the engine revealed why I believe the car was parked, head gasket failure. Both of these spark plugs had rust on them as well as major deposits that none of the other plugs had. I squirted about 6 ounces of ATF into all eight cylinders and then tried to spin the motor with the starter. The starter engaged but did not budge the crank. I have decided to sell the car as is. The car is located in Las Vegas if you want to inspect it. The car is in really nice condition and would be striking with a paint buff and polish. There are no signs of it ever being in a collision although it does appear to have been refinished somewhere along it's lift. Please let me know if there are any questions.
