1987 ROLLS ROYCE CORNICHE II Description

For sale is a 1987 Rolls Royce Corniche II Drop Head Coupe (DHC, convertible) that had a light front end accident very recently. The Corniche is the sister car to the Bentley Continental drop head, both of which are very desirable cars. This Corniche was sold for $58,000 by the Marshall Goldman dealership in 2014 when it had just 29,979 actual miles on it. The car now has 53,894 actual miles on it all of which is documented. Marshall Goldman advertise here on Ebay every day and enjoy a very good and enviable reputation selling very high end cars including a great many Rolls Royce and Bentley.
The car started immediately when I drove it off of the transport truck yesterday and it runs very well. There is a radiator leak from the accident which prevented me from driving any distance but the engine is excellent and the transmission clicks into drive and reverse perfectly. The power convertible top works very well as do all the windows except the drivers window which seems to be a bit sticky and will need to be looked at. The convertible top boot fits perfectly with the top down, see picture. There is one small spot where the stitching has come unpicked by the rear window. This is obviously a car that has been very well kept and taken care of and was in immaculate condition prior to the fender bender. The car is extremely straight and solid with no rust anywhere. There are parts to aid in the repair of the car in the trunk including a pair of perfect hood hinges, a headlight bucket and a stainless steel headlight bezel along with the damaged grill, which will be a nice garage wall hanger / man cave conversation piece for the new owner.
