1987 Saab 900 Description

Listed is my 1987 Edwardian Gray/Buffalo Saab 900SPG. It is in good running/driving condition with extensive service records dating back 2 owners, 12+ years and over 100K. Major mechanicaland other refurbishment attention completed within past 2 years including:

Erikson Trans, OEm Master cyl, clutch, machined flywheel, slave cyl, throw out bearing, brake rotors, calipers, reds tuff pads, fluid flush, ignition wires/tuneup, Bosch alternator rebuilt, belts, fuel tank clean and system flush, mass air flow sensor, tie rod ends, Bilstein shocks, steering u joint, rear deck, fuel pump, air filter, recovered door cards.Included a replacement gauge cluster as odometer stopped at 226k. replacement shows 236k which is within 4K of title reported 240K. Many other misc maintenance parts accounted for in records.

Strong running and pulls in boost like a fresh spg. Shifts, steers and brakes without complaint. Tight, noise free. Tracks straight. Two items of note not functioning: A/C (belt is off and I'm assuming it needs a compressor - bought it this way), and washer fluid pump is not working. Currently PA inspected, tires within spec. Good exhaust.

Floor, chassis solid w/o rust issues. Body and interior cosmetics need attention to bring this SPG back to its former glory. Original paint has share of marks and dings - 20 footer. May be able to spare a full respray with time spent on paintless dent and good touch up. The biggest issue is right front fender rust through as seen in pic. that needs a patch panel or full fender replacement depending on extent one wishes to go.

Interior is in nice shape apart from the bottom seat skins (I have better replacements included)which have splits. All lights/gauges, windows(except noted odometer) work as they should. Headliner is good and dash is better than most though not perfect with some minor cracks on edges of speakers.

Overall a complete and mechanically strong SPG with a fully documented and well loved (previous owners spared no expense) Saab thathas many years and miles ahead of it that could benefit from some body and cosmetics if so inclined.

I have a 900 convertible that myfamily lovesmore and cannot keep both in the fleet. Would prefer to sell locally so prospective buyer can check it out and doesn't involve shipping.
