1990 Saab 900 Description

2 classic Saabs in one package!
Fix both or use one as a parts car.
1x 1992 Saab 900s
The red one was my daily driver for several years up until a few months ago. I decided to get the grey one since the red one has rust and I wanted to transition over to a long term saab.
My life transitioned before I could transition and now I've decided to pass on these Saab's.
The red one has stacks of new parts and repairs over the last number of years. Lots of paperwork.
It was running perfectly up until a few months ago when the starter grounded out and melted the positive wire.
Now, after sitting, the ignition cylinder is frozen and it will need rear brakes. Otherwise, it ran great. But does have rust. The inside is a little rough on the red one. The back seat is removed to make a custom ~ 6 ft cargo areaIt has been a great car and a good friend. :). Thus, I can not bear to turn her into a parts car myself. And I'm not in the position to get her running again.

This is the base model. Not an S or a turbo! The delorian grey Saab is in excellent condition. As you can see by the pictures. It even has the original Saab flat tire disposal bag! No rust at all!The original headliner cloth is even attached... Rare for these older Saab's. As far as I know, it seems everything on this one is original.I bought it in indianapolis a few months ago. It drove excellent. ... Until it got to my driveway an hour away... then showed transmission issues.I parked it immediately and then kept driving the red one.I recently started it on December 12. On my second attempt starting it to drive it to a car wash I accidentally broke the ignition cylinder. :( Thus, I am ready to pass these on to someone with the golden Saab touch!I think the logical thing would be to put the red Saab's transmission into the grey one. Or figure out whatever you want to do with them.Get them both running! They both have lots of potential.I've driven the red one across country several times and wouldnt hesitate to do it again once the needed repairs are done.
Both need work and SOLD AS IS. Will need towed.
The delorian grey one is a great choice for proper restoration. Classic Swedish quality born from jets. :)Think collectible that's getting rare. Garage her up and keep her rust free?It has some light hail damage on the hood. And the passenger door has a minor dent. But she sure is beautiful...Both are manualThe picture of the top hood shows you how they will clean up nicely. ... Just dusty from sitting for a few months while I considered what to do...now here they are... 2 Saabs wanting a new home where they will brought back to life and enjoyed...The second part is easy...It's a Saab! Saabs! Please let me know if you've questions or want pictures of any specific area or angles.Or want to come see in Bloomington, indianaBoth need work and SOLD AS IS. Will need towedThanks!
