This is a complete non-donor Factory Five Cobra replica which was built by Frank Maslowski at I.E.427 (Los Angeles shop specializing in Factory Five) who has over 10 years experience building and maintaining Factory Five replicas.
The build was completed in September 2017 and has since been driven just under 1,000 miles and is in practically new condition. Titled in California as a 2016 using SPCN (SB100) which means no smog checks are required for the life of the car.

In the photo gallery I’ve included a few build photos of the Cobra at different stages, from body-off assembly, wiring, to bodywork. I have hundreds of others so if there’s something in particular you want to see just let me know.
Engine: Brand new Coyote crate engine from Ford Racing. Custom tuned by JMS with an SCT handheld tuner. OEM-style coolant routing and Moroso expansion tank. Fan shroud, radiator support, and mounting kit from Breeze Automotive. FFR 4 into 4 headers with locking bolts. It has not been dyno tuned but I would estimate around 450hp.
Driveline: Brand new TKO 600 transmission, balanced driveshaft, Moser 3.55 8.8” axle.
Suspension: Koni adjustable shocks +Factory Five 3-link rear suspension.
Interior: Kirkey Vintage bucket seats w/ adjustable mounts and Simpson 5-point harnesses. Custom-made adjustable seat rails (forward and back). The drivers footbox was enlarged to fit my size 13 feet. Replica AC-style pedals from Mike Forte. Custom-made 13” steering wheel from Moto-Lita in the UK (also includes standard 15” wheel from FFR).
Fuel: Replaced all Factory Five fuel lines with custom 3/8 stainless hardlines and 6AN fittings. Custom braided hose was used between fuel rail and fuel pump. Replaced OEM Fox-body Mustang hanger with high-capacity Pro-M Racing hanger, fed by a larger 255lph in-tank fuel pump. The larger pump and 3/6 + 6AN lines will happily feed a supercharged Coyote. Replaced Fox-body Mustang filter with high flow Aeromotive filter.
Exterior: Bodywork and paint was done by Jeff Miller Customs, using Viper Blue Pearl and Arctic White stripes. Note that the stripes were clear-coated over and aren’t removable. Quick Jacks were shortened slightly to match the original cars.
Power + Noise: Between 4-7000rpm the Coyote pulls like a freight train while howling like a banshee. It’s the only vehicle I’ve driven where I’d describe the acceleration as violent. But, at partial throttle below 3,000rpm it’s incredibly docile and tame. It’s very happy to cruise the mountain roads around SoCal without skipping a beat; elevation changes and all.
Build cost: I have over $70,000 worth of receipts for the build; between the Factory Five kit, engine/transmission, bodywork, and labor.
Please reach out with any questions. I was involved during the vast majority of the build process and should be able to answer any and all questions you may have.
