Reserve lowered substantially! For sale is a 1989 Shelby CSX VNT. Limited production of 500, this is #336 as indicated by the placard on the dash (pictured). This one is optioned with the desirable Recaro front bucket seats. I am the second owner, the vehicle was purchased about 3 years ago from the original owner with less than 16k miles. The car has mainly been used as a commuter car, just driven to/from the office over the past several years. This CSX has just under 32k miles at the time of listing. Car has been meticulously maintained under my ownership, detailed at least twice a year. Recent repairs include a full R134 AC conversion, front passenger side wheel bearing replacement, O2 sensor replacement, and full front brake replacement (rotors, pads, calipers). This car is bone stock with the exception of a period-correct Sony H/U and rear deck speakers. (modification from 1st owner). This car also maintains the original Shelby Fiberride wheels. (spare included but damaged) Below is listed every flaw I can think of with the car currently:

- Rear hatch lift shocks need replacement

- Small paint flaw on the rear passenger hatch pillar (shown in pics, looks like an overly aggressive compound buff at some point)

-horn button isn't very secure (needs some adhesive or something)

-Car has some period correct aftermarket stereo equipment, including a Sony H/U w/ trunk mounted CD changer, amplifier under the front passenger seat, rear deck speakers, and a "bass tube" subwoofer. (pretty simple to remove all these items if wanted)

The pictures speak for themselves! This car is in fantastic condition for it's age and has been well maintained and cared for! A very fun and zippy driver! Only .5 seconds slower in the 1/4 than a 1989 Corvette. A real credit to Shelby's tuning abilities! A great find for the Shelby enthusiast, collector, or just anyone who wants to drive an interesting and very rare car!
