1953 Studebaker Commander Description

1953 Studebaker Tristar Commander

I purchased this car in the spring of 2015. The previous owner bought this car from an auction in 2000, nd kept it in his shop where it stayed for 15 years. While he owned the car he never transferred the title into his name, s a result the title was misplaced. I have since filed and received a Texas bonded title. The car is a numbers matching car, as a factory 232 V8 3 speed on column with over drive. The car runs great. Since I have owned the car I have replaced the following, fuel lines, uel pump, uel sending unit, ater pump, aster cylinder, il line, reeze plug, oltage regulator, oints, ondenser, nd new 6volt battery). I also have a few spare parts to be included with the sale of the car, 2 Stormberg WW carburetors,2 used fuel pumps, ne 6 volt starter, ne tristar hood emblem, ew trunk seal inpackage). I also have thefactory build sheet, nd the car is equippedwith allthe correct features that it left the factory with. The car has an older restoration on it from the early 70's. It has a couple of old car show stickers on the dash from mid 70's. The paint has chips and flakes, ormal dings. Has a small chip in front windshield about as big as pencil eraser. The interior is in great shape thoughthere is some discoloring in the door panels and headliner. The radio lights up but makes no noise, linkers and wipers currently aren't working. The tires are weather cracked and will need to be replaced. The muffler is in need of being replaced as well.A $500 depositthrough paypal is required IMMEDIATELY and the rest will be due upon pick up. Must be picked up within 7 days after auction.Other than that she is a solid old girl with no rust. If I have missed anything or if you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message.

The car has been sitting for 15 years. It's in great shape for its age. But should expect the normal for a sitting car. If you do not intend to follow through with buying the car. DO NOT waste my time. I will accept cash in person or will meet you during the week at the bank with your cashiers check. It is buyer responsibility for picking up the car or arranging shipping.

If you do not have the money to complete the purchase of this car. DO NOT BUY IT!!!! This makes the 3rd time I've sold this car in 3 weeks on ebay due to non paying buyers. If you buy this car it requires IMMEDATE DEPOIST OF $500.00 NO EXCEPTION. If not, ou will be reported as a non paying buyer, nd it will be relisted.

I've added a few photos of the underbody. As you can see in the pictures someone has put a few panels in the floor pans at one time.
