1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk. 352 CID “Sky Power” V-8 Packard Engine with Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission and power steering. In excellent, preserved condition. Starts easily, runs well and may be reliably driven. Garaged and well maintained by two dedicated owners since 1957.105,000 original miles although odometer reads 5,000. Manufactured at the Vernon, California (Los Angeles) plant in November-December 1955 just before the plant closed in 1956. Serial Number 6800067. This car has always been in Southern California,has never been exposed to road salt and thus has no body corrosion. I have owned the car for 7 years however the owner before me owned it for 53 years (since 1957). Respray back in the 1980s and paint remains is in good condition although with a few touch-ups.Interior including headliner are in good condition. Tires are older and should be replaced. Left turn signal works intermittently. Horn operated by accessorybutton on steering column. New battery installed 9/28/2017.
Recent services performed: Air filter service, oil change, new spark plugs, points and condenser, power steering pump rebuild, restored original fuel pump and new brake master cylinder. Spare parts included: Water pump and timing chain.
