This is a 1951 Studebaker Commander Land Cruiser 4 door, V-8, Auto one owner that has been in dry storage since 1972. The car was purchased in 1951 by the original family. It was parked in their garage on jack stands in 1972 when they got too old to drive. After passing, the children kept the house untouched for 20 years. I purchased the car from the daughter. The tires still hold air. The interior is good for its age. The front seat shows some wear as well as the driver’s door arm rest. Rear seat is very good and the door panels are good. All glass is good. No rust but some minor corrosion around vents and right rear rocker. Trunk is complete. There are a few minor nicks from use and the mileage is 50k. All systems have been redone. This car just came out of the shop with complete rebuilds of all operating systems. All brake parts have been replaced and work great. The gas system has been entirely rebuilt. There is a new radiator, battery, filters, and fluids. The car runs great and is new except for some minor cosmetics and paint. Great minor project with suicide rear doors. Missing one hubcap.
