It's the age old story that I have read time and time again from Land Cruiser guys: my wife is pregnant and I am selling my beloved Cruiser so she can take maternity leave.
It is a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 andI imported this truck from New Zealand ten years ago. When I got it I repainted her, refurbished and upgraded many components.
Namely, I had the brakes and axels rebuilt. I also replaced the vast majority of the rubber.
It has a straight 4 Toyota Diesel Engine that was not available in the US, though it was available in British Columbia, Canada.
Another item on the truck that is of significance is the full-floating rear axel. This was not a component available on US models and is a rare stock item.
It has a two-speed transfer case and a four-speed manual transmission.
It is a right hand drive vehicle (if you deliver mail this 32+ mpg truck is a dream boat since you get paid per mile)
Old Man Emu heavy duty rear leaf springs w/ 2.5" lift
(but you can see in one of the pictures that I have blocks to offset the lift;
I was waiting to upgrade the front springs with a 2.5" lift)
