1981 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 Description

For Auction:
This is an AMAZING 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42. JT3BJ42C6B0000161. I purchased it from Kelowna, BC, Canada last year. It comes with a clear Pennsylvania title in my name. I am selling it because I actually have another BJ42 and only room for one. The pictures show the BC tags, but I will provide PA title number and registration.
I will tell you the GREAT, the good and the honest.
The GREAT:1.It is an unbelievable 3.4L Diesel. 24 volt system. It starts every time over the last 7 months without hesitation.2.Approximately 144,000 miles. 239,800 Km3.New Suspension rebuild by previous owner – Poly Bushings, greasable leafs, shackles, ball joints and shocks.4.Front Door seals5.25-28 mpg6.New front seat covers7.Original owners manuals8.Matching original door/ignition keys with codes on them - K43119.Original OEM Glass10.Power Assist Brakes11.Power Steering included (but not installed)12.Original interior Matts13.Good looking vinyl in the back14.Clear Pennsylvania Title15.The frame is very clean – just oiled by my mechanic16.New front bumper and bumperettes17.New front fenders

The HONEST:1.The paint covers an average amount of fiberglass repaired rust.2.RepairedRust – On lower portion of grill - floors boards, rockers as well as along both vertical doors near the front vents. The repairs are average. The area where the jack hooks in has also been repaired. The rear curves of the tub have been filled. The tail light bars have had metal welded in on both sides. The bottom of both ambulance are bubbling. Some broken off bolts on the top where it connects to the tub. Several drill holes in running boards and dash. Overall a mechanically sound BJ42 with some body work needed in the future. Don't let this one get away!!! This is amazing rig with unbelievable potential!!!!
