1983 Toyota Hilux Pickup Flatbed Work Truck NO RESERVE ! Description

UP FOR AUCTION IS A RARE CLASSIC FLATBED 1983 TOYOTA PICKUP TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CALIFORNIA SMOGGEDLAST WEEK PASSING EASILY.CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE. TAGGED AND REGISTERED.

the Toyota 22R engine. These 2.4L engines are extremely well known for their durability, decent fuel efficiency and good low to mid range torque. Thistruck fits that bill and isbarely broke injustover60,000 miles on it.
The vehicle was just driven 900 miles and did well on gas, drove smoothly at 70 mph on the expressway, all interior lights and components work including the after factory MP3 Player and the after factor interior cooling fan.
There is plenty of room on the flat bed and it even has a bolted down tool box for storing things. There is a heavy duty bumper and tow hitch.
Recent tune-up with new plugs, plug wires, alternator, thermostat, carburetor tune, new ignition coil, distributor etc. totally $800.00 (Please note that the new distributor and ignition coil were replaced after the photos were taken. Please also note that the vehicle should have about 200 more miles on this week before auction ends on routine trips. Thank you.)
The Interior has normal wear. Exterior, it was just sanded and painted three times and ready for a 600 sandpaper sanding. Ready for you to drive in and get the color of your choice. Many shops, if you tape it up yourself and bring your paint in will do it for about $300. I am leaving this up to the buyer or you can keep it hot rod flat black! Thanks.
The clutch shifts very smoothly, brakes seem fine. This is reliable, basic work and commute transportation in its current form. It could be restored and customized with black exterior, tinted windows, larger rims etc. Very good bones with minimal rust which is always a plus when it comes to vintage trucks. Definitely used in thearid areas where not a lot or rain or snow.
Please see my other auctions and thank you for looking!

Oh one more, I am new at selling vehicles and it was suggested that I use the following rules and stipulations so here goes:

The vehicle have not been formally inspected and buyers/bidders should understand that our opinions provided aremy observationsand are not a guarantee of condition. We will make every effort to provide any and all details that are apparent, howeverTHERE MAY BE OTHER PROBLEMS THAT WE HAVE NOT DETECTED, therefore please bid accordingly.

IF you have zero feedbacks or have made your Ebay ID made on or after 7/27/17, your bid will be cancelled. No exceptions. Trolling people who are selling their cars may seem fun but remember the golden rule. Would you like it ifbid on your car and then pulled a prank? I thought so. In addition, anyone with less than 10 feedbacks must leave their phone number so that we can call you to verify that zombies didn't overtake your computer and are bidding while you were out fishing. Little did you know that so we can inform you when you call and then state you didn't have any idea your user ID was compromised.

This vehicle is located in Stateline Nevada which is 60 miles from the Reno Airport and about 110 miles from the Sacramento Airport.

There is just one Stateline, NV in Nevada and its about 400 miles from Las Vegas and about 450 miles from Los Angeles so, yeah, kinda near. Cheap to ship this to your location. I can help with the organizing but the buyer is responsible to the paying of the shipping cost. Not the seller.
This is a working everyday vehicle. We boughtthe truckwith the idea that wewould move heavier objects on the flatbed. We bought this vehicle because its one of the best years of one of the most reliable vehicles that Toyota ever made.We also knew that the truck was well maintained and solid. Then, we bought a second vehicleand the other vehicle is a large diesel vehicle. It has a lot or towing capacity and we can move a lot of heavy objects at one time. We wanted to have one small efficient and one large less efficient but we simply can't keep both at this time. So we are adding the old diesel and selling this Toyota. No other reason.
Please remember that nonrefundable $500 is due within 24 hours of the auction ending and the remaining balance within 72 hours of the auction. No variations will be accepted. You can send a cashiers check or bring cash if you are near but you must pay in 72 hours. By bidding, you agree to this nonrefundable deposit and have asked permission from your boss/wife to buy it.

  • We reserve the right to end the auction early at anytime for any reason.

  • We DO NOT ACCEPT TRADES, nor will we trade the vehicle you purchased for another vehicle we have listed on ebay!

  • We DO NOT SELL PARTS from the vehicle! The vehicle is sold as is and will not be parted out!

We welcome personal inspections prior to bidding. Yes, you can. Its insured and drives nice as long as you know how to drive a stick shift.

Please note that all sales are final and there will be no refunds once the vehicle leaves and there will be no refund of the $500 non refundable deposit that is due in 24 hours after the auction ends. Please no, buyers remorse, I found another vehicle closer, etc etc. If you are kooky or high maintenance or a difficult person, please don't bid, there are plenty of $20,000 dollar used trucks where you can be picky and whine the price down or badger the rich dealers who picked it up for a song and only driven by a little old lady on Sunday, blah blah blah.

Please do not bid and win an item with the intent of inspecting after auction end. Buy it, pay for it,and pick it up.

We reserve the right to end the auction early.

CONCERNING SALES TAX:

Buyers are required to pay the sales tax on the winning bid amount to their respective county and state they reside in. You will also be required to pay the registration transfer fees and any back due registration fees what ever they may be.

CONCERNING VEHICLE PICK-UP:

Pickup must occur within21 days of the end of the auction, unless other arrangements are made with us. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Can I help you find someone cheap and good? Yes! But I can't guarantee that my cheap is the same cheap as your cheap so remember its the buyers responsibility but I am here to help.

CONCERNING SMOG

This was just California smogged. So, Californians are good to go. We make no guarantees as to the vehicle passing or failing an emission test in your city, county, state. There are multiple different systems within many states by county and cities. We cannot bring the car to your state to get it Smog test and personally, I think its a little odd that one state cannot accept another State's Smog test (usually) but its all about the Smog Tax, License Tax, Registration Tax, Sales Tax, and all the other taxes that the Government labels, "Fees". Yeah, revenue enhancement. By the way, California is more rigid than most of the States and Counties in our nation.
