Up for sale is a 1988 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 with a 5 Speed Manual transmission. 4Runner currently has 167,255 miles and has been owned by the current owner for approximately 6+ years. Most recently, the truck has received a fresh re-spray in its original Toyota Black color. Paint job was done correctly where fenders were replaced (both front and REAR), rust was cut out and replaced with new sheet metal, and a base coat/clear coat 2 stage application.Below is an outline of what the truck has, its condition, and other important information to perspective buyers.
· Black Exterior is in excellent condition; no flaws. Mint. You will be very hard pressed to find another 88' in this condition, especially in New England.
· No Rust. It was removed and new sheet metal was used. Undercarriage also rust free.
· Car has been garaged for the past 3 years. Started occasionally but not driven daily.
· Chrome Bumpers and trim is also in excellent condition for its age.
· Interior is very clean, Red/Maroon colorway- no cracks on dash or major imperfections. Has SR5 sport style seats which are still very comfy. Headliner is also perfect. Carpet is also very clean with no stains, burns, or holes. Rear headrests are included, just not pictured.
· 31x10.5, 90% tread left- 15" wheels still in good shape. A few imperfections here and there but still quite nice. See pics.
· Signals, lights, interior electronics all work. Crank style windows, not power.
· Brakes look good, not in any need of replacement.
· Newer parts include- Water pump, clutch master, slave cylinder, brake master cylinder, front brake pads, fuel pulsation damper, EGR valve (a week ago), and alternator.
Needs (which are minimal):
· Valve cover gasket leaks on one side along with the steering pump. This is due to it sitting for so long.
· Included rear spare tire, but its not mounted under truck.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I will do my best to help perspective buyers and provide any additional information they may be seeking. I just ask that you're a serious buyer and not someone thinking I'm going to accept a lowball offer. I'm well aware of what 4runners of this magnitude sell for and I feel that this is more than fair asking price. The truck is sold AS-IS. No returns.
Thank you for your time.
