1972 Triumph TR-6 convertible Description

1972 Triumph
TR-6

VERY complete and original TR6
has had one repaint yrs ago....
Possibly a 1 owner car.
Last tagged in 1978, then the parked for the most part.
Driven very little. Gas tank and fuel system is fine.
I think it was drained and ran out of gas whenever it was
parked for long periods.
IF You have less then 10 feedbacks, we will email you
to make sure its legit
we email you to check your sincerity on buying the car and
dont get a reply within 24 hours.. You will be cancelled and
blocked too from bidding.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Id prefer NO PAYPAL to be honest, or maybe as a deposit only.
Email me first before
you bid if thats your only option. We bank with BofA
which is easy for most buyers.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: TOTAL SURVIVOR
and by that I mean, its not been modded ever and
other then the 1 repaint back in the 80s, its a nice
Was running and driving fine the last few weeks
until the ignition switch decided to fail. For temp
usage, ran a wire to the coil from the battery to be
able to start and drive it around the yard. Ill try to
get another ignition switch before the auction
ends, but not promising. If you want an update
just check with me during the week. The odometer
only shows aprox 15,220 on it. The previous owner
says its original but no way to confirm it. So for to be
safe, lets assume its 115k. But it doesnt look like it.
This car has never been restored just a paint job.

Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: very complete and original under the
bonnet. Motor could be matching #s, but not exactly sure
where to check on these. Check out the 100+ pics in
we have below and if you have questions lmk. But once
runnnig, it runs and drives great. 4 spd tran has the OD option
which is nice.

INTERIOR: take a look, Az has not done much of a job drying out
all the rubber weatherstripping, but its been in a garage
most of its life too which helped. aftermarket radio in dash
dont seem to be working. Chrome is nice in and out....
inside actually not too bad. Even the wood inside the car is
not too bad. It was not in the sun for yrs, but yes to heat.
I noticed the pass side window handle not attached but sitting
on the floor. Havent checked to see if all the gauges work yet.
Gauges in the cluster look great. All the glass looks to be in good
shape too and work. Trunk is very clean and correct.
Looks to have one of the original Redline tires for a spare still.
See pics below

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, the
car had a repaint (factory color) just from Az sun fade yrs back
and then garaged again . Ive been all over the car
and see no signs of old cracking bondo or rot repair. Stainless
in good shape, chrome very nice too. Doors all open and close fine,
and glass all looks good and original. Chrome on the bumpers is
in amazing shape. Did see a few nicks in the dr door and a few
touch up spot on the car. Doesnt look to have ever been in any
accidents, but cant say 100%. Looks very straight.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. Its not restored, but probably feels great when
driving the car. No weird noises or signs of anything worn out.
Tires are almost new. Handles like a true sports car.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented British
cars on Ebay. And if you are an overseas bidder, great !

Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes.
If you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.

AZ TITLE IN HAND
Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !!

CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 daysof auctions
END ! we can no longer store cars for anyone !!
Unless other arrangements are made before auction ends.
Can help with shipping outside the USA too if you need help.
But keep in mind, the car cant ship until you get your title
from us in hand.
This car, youcan seeclearly whatto expect with no surprises
and our Feedback speaks for itself !
EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE !! Will ship as in
INOP right now unless we fix the ignition switch this week.
We deal with alot of shippers so
getting it done wont be that hard.
IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state
and Ill find out our best quote for you !!
No problem helping it to the docks if you are shipping overseas .
If you have to wait for the title to ship your car, it still needs to
be paid for and shipped from our holding lot as mentioned in
the ad. When we get the title for it, we will fedex it to you.

If YOU WIN please email me when the auction ends
and say Hi and we can take it from there.
