1974 TRIUMPH TR-6 CONVERTIBLE w/HARDTOP, British Blue w/black, 4spd w/Overdrive
1974 Triumph TR-6 Description
This is for the 1974 Triumph TR-6 as shown. Clear Nevada Title, been in our family and kept in California and Nevada for the last 20+ years. We purchased it from a family that had it in California for 10+ years, not sure prior to that. Features include the sought-after factory "Overdrive" in working order, factory rear deck rack, factory hardtop with newer (Black) paint and clean white interior and seals. Car also has a serviceable used soft-top (complete and installed) and a cockpit cover. Car is the OE french blue (126) with black (11) interior. The only interior changes that I am aware of are the install of a Sony CD stereo w/aux input. and 2-Sony speakers. Engine has been upgraded for a hotter spark by a local shop (John's British Cars of Reno) and otherwise stock. It will need a new drivers side seat belt as the strap is aged/frayed (i still use it as it is). The drivers seat does have a crack/tare in the upper left side currently covered with black tape, works fine. I do have the brackets for the front license plate also along with a few other misc items that are all included such as an unmounted spare tire..
Car is current on licence and registration, clean Nevada title in sellers name. Due to the cars age, it is not required to be smogged in Nevada and will be sold without smog certificate.
Mileage was accurate when picture was taken but, will change as we will still take the car on drives.
The car runs well and we drive it around town every week-two weeks. No major damage and no known rust. Please remember that this is a 42year old car and thus is not new and is not perfect, please don't expect it to be. There are normal driving wear and signs of use on this car. The heater vents seem to work but being that we drive it when it is nice out we don't use them. The dash dimmer knob doesn't seem to work correctly, but the driving gauges do illuminate. This would make an excellent driver as is or a great-solid base for a restoration/restomod. I do have some replacement badges and trim pieces and all parts are included with purchase.
