1974 Triumph TR-6 Description

1974 Triumph TR6 for sale. Carmine red. Very good condition with total mileage unknown, but believed around 90K. Odometer reads 37K.
Eaglegate 5 speed transmission kit installed. This 5 speed conversion uses a modern Toyota 5 speed transmission. This allows effortless cruising at highway speeds. It is a complete engineered bolt on kit, no cutting or modification of the body required. From inside the car it looks exactly like the original 4 speed, but drives much better. Should you desire, it can be easily converted back to the original transmission which will be included.

With the new parts and modifications, this TR6 can easily cruise at freeway speeds safely and is a joy to drive. None of the modifications detract from the classic appearance, only add to your driving pleasure.
-This car was subject to a mild restoration about 12 years ago and the paint is still in pretty good condition but has various nicks and scrapes from wear. I've owned it for 2 1/2 years and have repaired all the mechanical parts as needed. Starts, runs and drives very well and am selling only because I bought another TR and don't have room. Older top that's OK, but has a small tear in one side window. Everything works and can be driven anywhere. Clear Florida title in hand.

On Jul-10-18 at 07:40:08 PDT, seller added the following information:

The floorboards are solid. If they are not the originals they were welded in very nicely. Also installed is a poly transmission cover instead of the original cardboard. The chassis is solid with the only welding I could find done to repair the right front differential mount. No rust-through anywhere on car. The right front forward edge of the bonnet has a very small spot of filler, but everywhere else is remarkably rust free. The heater works as it should. I replaced the heater fan blades and reworked the motor. The face level vents are not connected to the heater boxes as they really never did much, but it comes with the hoses and under dash vents if you want originality versus access.
