Triumph TR-7 / V-8 conversion
1980 Triumph TR-7 Description
This 1980 Triumph TR-7 has been professionally converted to a V-8 using a Triumph correct 3.5 litre Rover V-8. The engine was completely rebuilt before installation. An Offenhauser intake and Edelbrock 500 carburetor were installed. A Mallory distributor and Electronic ignition were also added. The car also has a new electric (180 degree) cooling fan, new exhaust, tire, and battery. It is a great performer with a sound that lets everyone know that "there is something under there!" The 5 speed gear box shifts smoothly and does not jump out of gear. A great driver's car, it would take very little to make it show worthy. Remembe, despite the badging, this is a TR-7! My reserve is low--I need to make space! Call me with any questions at (814)671-0695. Bob
