Only built for 13 months, the TR250 was a Hybrid built between the TR4 and TR6. It was basically a TR4 with a 2.5 Liter 6 Cylinder instead of the 4-Cylinder. Triumph also started a Petrol or Fuel injection by Lucas which was pretty ahead of its time for street use cars and Triumph claimed that they were the first to offer it. In 1968 the TR250 sold in North America for over $3300 and wire wheels, overdrive and surrey... top were and additional $500. Standard equipment included front disc brakes, IRS, rack and pinion steering and 4-speed gearbox. This spectacular example we are pleased to offer is finished in is factory original, highly sought after Triumph Racing Green over black interior. It is fitted with the Surrey top, wire wheels and overdrive. It received a total body-off restoration four years ago by Zappa Racing where the Type A overdrive transmission was completely refreshed and is like new. An additional performance feature is the addition of custom fitted headers coupled to a rare and expensive, NOS Abarth Exhaust. This TR250 starts, runs and sounds awesome. Comes with the British Heritage Certificate.
