1957 Triumph TR3 Small Mouth - Very Original
1957 Triumph TR3 Description
You are bidding on a 1957 Triumph TR3 with the small mouth grill. This is a matching-numbers car with engine number TS17430E. The original color was black with red interior. It appears to have had just 1 repaint in the burgundy you see on it now. The car has not been driven for at least 10 years.
The engine would turn over when I got it about a year ago, but I haven't tried it since then. I assume it will still turn over. The transmission shifts into all the gears.
There is some rust here and there on the car and should be easy to see in the pictures, both top and bottom of car. The interior door panels and side curtain hardware that attaches to the door panels are included. The tonneau cover and top bows cover appear to be originals and are both in very good condition with no tears and no brittleness.
The front bumper is missing, but the radiator grill is there. It was removed because it doesn't fit in the opening with the fog lights attached there now.
For transporting, the car rolls easily and all 4 tires hold air without leaking.
