1979 Triumph TR7 Convertible Description

1979 Triumph TR-7 Roadster

********Please read the full description. This is a very good deal********

First year for TR7 Convertible (previous TR7`s were hardtops).Only made 1979 to 1981 though some websites claim 1982 production.

2.0 LiterOHC (Over Head Cam)4 cyl. w/factory dual carbs,5 speed,factory AC(rare),power disc brakes,factory Rally wheels,factory luggage rack,dealer installed stereo,etc....odometer shows 58,000 miles and works.

Stored inside in North Central Florida for most of last 20 years and that`s why it`s so solid.I have seen 1 small rust place behind drivers front wheel.I have NOT seen any rust holesin the doors, hood, trunk lid, headlight panel,or any hinge area.As best I can tell there is no rust thru in the floor or trunk pan(see detailed description above). As far as I can see there is NO bondo/filler.

This car is so original it still has all the stickers under the hood, and factory "smog" pump is still mounted and functional.Appears to be mostly original paint which is getting a little flat, but probably can buff up.I had the seats inserted.Dash is perfect.Door panels nice.Carpet not rotted.Top has 2 tears but does not seem to leak. All the lights work. All the gauges work.Even the stereo works.Tires are 85% tread and not rotted.

I have priced this solid car as a restoration project, but it is actually my daily driver.Over 4,000 miles since Feb. this year, and I still drive it daily. It is hard to find an unrestored car this solid and driveable, and as they say "They are only original once".

Rare find and NOT overpriced
