1970 Triumph TR-6 Description
1970 Triumph TR-6. 6 cylinder, 4 speed, convertible. The frame, body, entire drivetrain has been 100% restored. The body is aligned and installed properly to the frame with nice panel gaps. The engine transmission, differential, full suspension has been completely rebuilt, including interior and trim. The engine bay is completed and painted. The chassis and underside of the car were painted with POR-15. Frame was stripped, media blasted, repaired in areas, and rebuilt with all new hardware. Suspension – All parts were media blasted and most parts were painted with POR-15. Chassis – The engine bay and trunk areas have no rust. Floors, rocker panel and rear tail panel were replaced. Body – Hood, trunk, and doors are original and have no rust. All 4 fenders were purchased from Moss Motors. The gaps are very nice. The bumpers are original and in fair shape. They could be re-chromed. New Robbins convertible top. Engine and drivetrain – Engine was completely rebuilt. The block was bored 20 over, and runs perfectly. The transmission and differential were rebuilt and there are only a few miles on the drivetrain. There are 2 sets of carbs included with the car. Mounted to the engine now are new Weber carbs and linkages. The original carbs and linkages are also included. The distributor has electronic ignition. All brake components, lines, cylinders, calipers, etc, are new and /or rebuilt and are in perfect condition. The clutch assembly is new. There are 2 new horns and a new vacuum advance. Some gauge wiring still needs to be completed. Interior – Seat frames are in great shape. Brand new interior with new seat covers, door panels and trim work and carpeting. All new rubber door and window seals. Dashboard, gauges, and dash top are like new. Tires are in fair condition.
