Thanks for checking out my ad, I had been daily driving this car while working on my other car, a BMW 335i, it is now complete which means is time to get rid of one and free up some money. On to the info:
1985 VW Golf 115k miles. 8v 1.8 5 speed trans. Not a spec of rust that I've found yet. It has a brand new Exedy clutch, rear main seal and oil pan gasket, shifts and grabs flawlessly and does not leak or consume a drop of oil! It has new wheels and tires, brand new raceland coilovers installed, comes with good condition shocks and springs as spares. Overall the car is in stunning shape besides the clearcoat, although the paint underneath is in great shape and is protecting the car from the elelments, the bottom of the car is also lined for rust protection. Also comes with mk3 handle conversion, shifter rebuilt kit. It shifts perfectly, there is just some play in the shifter from age. It has a Kenwood head unit with auxiliary input and USB, speakers work great. Comes with a new water pump and Gates timing belt as well. Stock grill will come with the car also (last picture, in great shape) The car is an amazing daily driver around town, the simplicity of it and great handling will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.
