1985 Volkswagen Golf Description

This classic VW makes for a great project car. These things are becoming more and more collectible every year. Plus it’s fun to say Cabriolet with a fancy accent.
State of affairs:Engine cranks but does not run, no spark at the coil. Easily slides into all four gears and reverse. Car rolls, steers and brakes. Needs bodywork in places as some panels have rusted through. Tires are dry rotted badly. Top is torn. Frame is good. Interior is good. Glass is good. All trim is present and in good condition. Much of the weatherstripping is good.
