Current owner purchased from original owner over 10 years ago, always garage kept by both owners. its basically original except it was painted once a few years back and in2006 a remanufactured exact replacement engine done by a VW authorized facility was installed with a then new tuned exhaust system (see pic). Mechanically one brake cylinder has minor leak that needs to be addressed, 2 tires will need replacement before next inspection plus 1 inch cut on conv top and minor bubbling on foot area around running boards.Otherwise the rest of the car is all original just needs some really good cleaning and somebody to make the decision which direction to take it, preserve or complete restoration. A very solid car in great condition. I took pictures of any imperfections I could find.
