-Beautiful paint, finished in beautiful Mohagany (LE3K) which is a striking color and looks great on this VW. The color code label is located on the core support (see pics). There are minimal paint imperfections (chips, nicks, scratches, hazing, etc.) Small bend on the lower front valance. There are no major dents and the overall appearance is outstanding!
The engine is phenomenal and is crisp and clean (visually and mechanically). No smoke leaks, or any issues. The truck idles smooth and runs extremely well, like new! The clutch feels perfect and shifting through all the gears is near effortless. This truck is a lot of fun to drive, has a very solid/tight drive train and receives compliments all the time Everything worked just like it should when tested. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are all in proper working order. The brakes, steering and suspension are in tip top shape. All gaugesshow normal readings. The sound of this diesel engine is a joy to listen to. All hoses, belts and accessories are well sorted.
The interior is in remarkable condition.
The seats are pristine and have been well preserved with covers. There are no stains or strange odors. It has ever been smoked in. The carpets have also been well protected and are in amazing condition with the original coco style mats (see pics). The headliner and visors are A+++. The original dash is near perfect, along with the door panels, faux wood and console.
Misc:
All window trim, door weatherstripping, seals and gaskets are in superb un-weathered condition (see pics). All original glass with factory labels still in tact. There are no visible chips or imperfection on any of the glass.
-Bumpers and chrome are in fantastic condition.
-Lights lenses and emblems are all in good condition and there are no missing or damaged parts
-Nice shiny hubcaps and steel wheels.
-The tires are older and should be replaced soon.
-Duraliner bed liner is probably a rare accessory in and of itself. Needless to say it has preserved the paint underneath and is easily removable.
