1989 Volkswagen Cabrio Best Seller Edition Description

This is a clean, one lady owned 1989 Volkswagen Cabriolet with only 97,650 miles. Mechanically, the CIS injection was completely gone through, the shifter assembly has all new bushings, the timing belt service was done, it has new brake pads, a new muffler and new front strut inserts. Both fuel pumps were replaced and all the vacuum lines were replaced. The a/c was converted to 134R and blows cold and the a/c belt was changed. The plugs were changed the timing was set, and the oil and filter was changed. The car has a new battery, and the tires are new as well - they were mounted on factory “teardrop” wheels. The radio was replaced as was the antenna. Cosmetically, this is a Southeastern car and has no rust - not even the usual lower windshield channel rust. The underside is also very clean. The paint is original with the exception of a touched up scratch on the fender and bumper cover. The top and pad were recently replaced, and the boot is in great condition. The interior is one of my favorites - a cloth houndstooth design and it is in perfect shape with no rips, tears or worn spots.

Like all of the Cabriolets I sell - this is not a PROJECT. I try to go through each car and fix or replace what is needed so that the new owner will be able to enjoy the car without worrying about repair bills.
