Listing this beautifully restored '71 standard beetle for sale for a friend. This car is a truly amazing vw restored to a far higher standard than most vw's of this era are. Well known Volkswagen builder Michael Womack restored this car 7 years ago in Greensboro, Nc. The reserve is set far below what it would cost to restore another beetle without factoring in the initial cost of a project beetle. Moving out of town and just not able to take the car along.

Mechanical:Fully rebuilt 1600 dual port. Fires right up every time, runs out great, 4 speed transaxle shifts through all the gears tight and smoothly. This is a dependable car you can drive anywhere you want.

Body: Zero rust anywhere. Perfect floors, heater channels, fender wells, spare tire well, aprons etc. Beautiful show quality paint.

Interior: Also very nice and tidy, beautiful flawless headliner andthe dash has never been hacked.

The car is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. The car is available to see and inspect any time before auction ends. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, with remainder due within 7 days, via cash, cleared check, money order or bank transfer.
