1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

This is a 1973 vw bus.
No rust, traight, nd ready for the road and adventures
Partially restored (not professionally). I purchased this bus about 2 years ago and it was in amazing shape mechanically and the body was tip top. The interior had missing pieces and was in need of a little love. I gutted it, leaned it, nsulated it, uilt bamboo hardwood cabinets, ew hardwood floors, ew vinyl door panels from Jbugs. The new upholstery and foam cushions was completed professionally by a local furniture maker in Portland, R (I have and will include the roll of green vinyl if you wish to replace the front seats to match,
paint job is new inside and out but not full paint job - bus was not dismantled for paint so you will see the previous paint job in the wells, n engine compartment, nd other not visible places. Paint job was $4000 - nice but not a $10,000 job of course.
There are new CV Joints, ew fuel line, ew brakebooster and hoses, ransmission serviced and solenoids adjusted - shifting great and riding smooth (tiny reverse clunk) - engine serviced, il changed - I drive this bus everyday and over the summer went from Portland, R to San Fran to Quincy, A back to San Fran to Portland, R, o Coeur d' alene, D to Seattle to Portland, R - trekked about 2000 mile without problems.
I recently had the engine run through and the compression is low for all valves - 85 - I am willing to throw in a rebuilt fuel injected with less than 3000 miles on it for the buy it now price - or take offers for this bus. The engine may need to have some parts of it rebuilt to get teh compression where it needs to be.
The riviera Pop top is in fantastic shape - a couple tears in the screen mesh but the canvas is clean and solid and the metal hinges are in great working order.
The interior is almost there but will need a new auxiliary battery for interior electrical setup if desired, o sink faucet, o water tank, ink needs install, eadliner needs install (havent done this because i was planning on building a speaker box and storage above bed first (never got to it), liding door could use new rubber liner.
So close to becoming a clean, resh new ride -
