1968 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Camper Description

I am offering up my 1968 Riviera Campe, I purchased the bus from a guy who had very high hopes of restoring the bus . It had disassembled over 15 years ago and some work was done over that period of time . Last fall I had the opportunity to purchase this project from him . I figured it would keep me busy while there was snow on the ground . Well it did just tha, and I have decided to sell to fund a different project I found .So here is what I di, I went through the brake system replacing all rubber lines brakes and cylinder, removed the motor disassembled and replaced full gasket, reassembled with many new parts to have a nice solid running engine . Engine mount, shift linkage bushing, etc . To make the bus very reliable . Next I turned my attention to the interior I had to copy all the old rotting wood and rebuild the camper kit as close as possible to the original kit . Replaced the poptop canva, added a new roof rac, redid the front seats with new TMI cover and Wolfsburg west padding . New door and kick panels were also installed . The body is in great shape with a solid battery tray and floor, paint in my opinion very nice driver quality paint job . I wouldn’t say show car but presents itself very well . Newer 8 ply tires . And so many little things like window and door seals . The list is very long boring . But the results of that are what you see in the pictures . A great little classic Vw camper . I would love to keep this with some of my others . But I just don’t have an extra covered space to store it . And feel that someone could have fun in this va, and make memories with there family .
